Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. She wears many hats; volunteer coordinator, bicycle repairwoman, event planner, grant writer, and shop boss just to name a few. When she has the rare free moment, she and her partner Jerry love to ride their bikes on the Arkansas River Trail, climb Pinnacle Mountain, and play with their dogs Barley and Appa. She is passionate about increasing access to bicycles for adults and kids, and believes everyone deserves the joy (and mobility!) of knowing how to safely ride a bike. In her day-job at Our House, she helps to connect adults experiencing homelessness with the Recycle Bikes for Kids Earn-a-Bike Program, and coordinates the kids bike donation for Our House's Adopt-a-Family Christmas program. Rachael also serves on the board of Trust Tree, an organization that works to uplift girls in Central Arkansas through music and art. He is Ride Director for the Wampoo Roadeo, a metric century bike ride that takes place on the 3rd Saturday of July. Charlie is Special Events Coordinator for Recycle Bikes for Kids and helped create the RB4K Dirty Fondo, a gravel ride in May that generates funds for the program. He and Ron have an unspoken competition to repair the most bikes for our program, and recruits friends from all over the cycling community to help with our mission. He is an avid cyclist and former board member at Our House Shelter. He currently is a Board Ambassador at Our House. He’s passionate about getting more people on bikes, whether it be kids who have never had the opportunity, or the unsheltered community who rely on bikes for their transportation. He also runs the Tour da Delta Bike ride in Helena, Arkansas as part of the King Biscuit Blues Festival. He supports the Recycle Bikes program by organizing volunteer efforts to repair bikes, recruits bike drive donations with various groups and companies, and also helps coordinate bike giveaways in low-income communities around the state. He has also taken the funds for Tour da Delta and reinvested it into the community in Helena by purchasing and installing bike repair stations with tool and air pumps.
